Dorian Greyhound

I don't why, but I love stuff like this.

I was in a Ross Dress for Less the other day. I LOVE that place. Sooner or later, everything under the sun, finds it's way to Ross Dress For Less.

Shot glasses with Marylin Monroe's face on them...
Lemon zesters in the shapes of real lemons...
T- shirts with line drawings of the Eiffel tower, covered in rhinestones...
Lamps covered in leapard print and trimmed with hot pink faux ermine...
Martini mixers in the shapes of rockets...
I even saw a random pair of bronzed baby shoes there once, just for no reason.I think they were supposed to be part of a pair of book holders or something along those lines.

And things that are so strange, I can't even really describe them. Sculptures of fish and cows and frogs and I don't know what else.

A few weeks ago, when I was dragging a friend there, I found a painting. It was a nineteenth century country gentleman, in his library, in his breeches and a waistcoat. His hand was a little strange as it seemed to be made entirely of thumbs. And his face was a sad looking bull dog kind of a thing, with eyes that looked right into your soul, and a weary expression of betrayal that read to me as, "really?"

LOVED it. I was talked out of buying by said friend, only for the following reasons:
1. I don't currently have a particular friend I love enough to buy it for (and said friend was looking at me with a very glowering look, so THAT was out)
2. It needed to be in a set of three.

This is where Dorian Greyhound comes in. I'm not sure if they do sets of three, but I bet they do. And I bet they will be made entirely of wonderful.
